STEP 1: Start by sending me a detailed description of what you're looking for! The more detail the better—there's honestly no such thing as too much info here. Here's some idea for what you can send me.

Book blurb.

Mood board.

Actors/models for your character(s).

Colour palette.

In book descriptions.

Style comps. (x meets y)

Actual art pieces you like the style and composition of.

STEP 2: I'll make a few thumbnail concepts for you to look at and choose from. My concepts are made using a collage/concept art technique where I bash together photographs and paint on top, essentially making my own reference for later. This means the final product won't look exactly like the thumbnail—such is the nature of art.

 

You are one hundred percent allowed to veto the concepts if none of them are right for you!

 

STEP 3: When you approve a concept I ask for payment in full through Paypal. You'll be sent an invoice for records. A tip once my work is done is really appreciated, but not in any way required or expected.

 

STEP 4: When I'm close to finishing your piece I'll send you a preview so you can point out issues you might have before I finish. I'll then go away and fix it up, and then send you a JPG, PNG, low res PDF, and high res PDF.

 

I am also available at any time AFTER working with you to crop the artwork for banners, ads, or posters free of charge. I offer this service for free people I saw some people do it by themselves and they cropped part of the picture I liked, and I could have done it for them if they asked... Imagine I said all of that in a high pitched whiny voice, like the lemon guy from adventure time of something—it's not that serious, but still.e completely or anything, I just wanted to warn you that my digital brushes are changing a little.
